Bus Cat Ba island to Ha Giang Itinerary
This is the Tourist way – best way from Cat Ba island to Ha Giang – Total 13 hours ride, we will Pass and change the bus in Ha Noi, we take you from Cat Ba to Ha Noi 4 hours ride by Seating Bus, wait for 0.5 hours at changing Point in Ha Noi Old Quater, then get on the Second Bus Ha Noi to Ha Giang 7 hours ride
From 07:10 – 07:20 : Our guide and Bus start pick-up from your hotel in Cat Ba town, Beo harbor … and leave to Cai Vieng harbour.
08:10 : At Cai Vieng harbor, we get on the ferry boat travel to Got harbour about 30 to 40 minutes.
08:40 : At Got harbour, we get on other Bus Ride on highway 5B

11:00 : Arrival Ha Noi – Bus Change Point, Drop off at : 156 Tran Quang Khai Street , Ha Noi Old Quater

Cat Ba Island is the largest of the 367 islands spanning 260 km2 (100 sq mi) that comprise the Cat Ba Archipelago, which makes up the southeastern edge of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam. Cat Ba island has a surface area of 285 km2 (110 sq mi) and maintains the dramatic and rugged features of Ha Long Bay.

Drive Ma Pi Leng Pass
The roads of Ha Giang serve up the ultimate motorcycle adventures. The drive into Dong Van is impossibly beautiful, however Ma Pi Leng — where the road snakes past the Nho Que River — is the jewel in Ha Giang crown.
Get lost in the hills
Trekking opportunities are plentiful in Ha Giang. The Quan Ba Pass holds a lookout that lives up to its name: Heaven’s Gate. Quan Ba is also the gateway to the lofty limestone peaks and rock-strewn fields of Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.
Visit the Sa Phin H’Mong Palace
Near the border with China stands a H’Mong King Palace in the village of Sa Phin. Built in 1902 during the French occupation, the wood-framed palace is done in the traditional Chinese style and oozes character.

Make time to journey north to Lung Cu, where a gigantic Vietnamese flag blows proudly at the border. The best time to arrive is late afternoon as the heat subsides, making the climb of 200 steps a little kinder.
